Ferris IS Suspension

We provide the only commercial mowers with suspension system developed by engineers to meet the needs of professional landscapers.

Our patented suspension system allows each wheel to move up and down independently smoothing out uneven turf.

The caster wheels and cutting deck of the mower are connected to the frame beneath the suspension and raises and lowers as the wheels of the mower travel over ground contours.

This system virtually eliminates shocks to the chassis, resulting in superior operator comfort, increased mowing speeds, stability and extended mower life.

INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY, SPEED & INCOME

Operators will typically slow down when mowing over rough terrain.
Ferris suspension protects users from the effects of bumpy or uneven ground, meaning you can maintain a faster mowing speed and cut more grass in less time, increasing your possible revenue too.

COMFORT

Ferris’ exclusive suspension system absorbs shocks and vibrations from uneven terrain that cause operator fatigue and discomfort.
The increased comfort from riding a Ferris translates to better operator satisfaction and increased productivity.

IMPROVED SAFETY

Ferris’ suspension system virtually eliminates the bumps, jolts and vibrations usually felt when mowing. With HAV readings below 2.5 on all our zero turn ride on mowers, and WBV readings below 0.5, you’re guaranteed increased safety.
This also means there are no limits on hours of use, meaning you can mow for longer, increasing your income and productivity.

EXTENDED MOWER LIFE

Ferris IS suspension results in reduced shocks to the chassis, better stability and an extended overall mower life. The investment you make in a Ferris will save you money in the long run in servicing, maintenance and repairs.
Couple that with increased productivity, longer operating hours due to low HAVs/WBVs and zero turn functionality saving time on corners, obstacles and end of runs – it’s a no-brainer to get a Ferris!

TERRAIN FOLLOWING DESIGN FOR A PRECISE CUT

The mower deck follows the movement of the independent wheel suspension and the flow of uneven terrain. So for example when going over a bump, the suspension follows the ground contours, minimising breaks in ground contact and maximising traction to produce a superior and consistent cut. This suspension also benefits the chassis by significantly reducing shock load.
